What Trucks and Buses Use the VT365

Commercial International trucks, most commonly the International 4300 and International 4700 medium-duty, and International 3800 school buses, plus other medium-duty and step or delivery chassis.

VT365 in the International Lineup

The VT365 succeeded the 7.3-liter T444E and was itself succeeded by the 6.4-liter MaxxForce 7. Not to be confused with the VT275, a smaller 4.5-liter V6 (later MaxxForce 5).

Common VT365 Problems and What to Check When Buying Used

The VT365's known weak points are the EGR cooler, the oil cooler, the head gaskets and head bolts (studs are the common upgrade), the HEUI high-pressure oil pump and injector sticking, the FICM, and VGT turbo sticking. A properly updated example is regarded as dependable, so condition and prior repairs matter more than the year. Every VT365 we sell is run-tested before it ships.
